It was important for us to preserve and correctly transfer the data from the existing website, while at the same time forming a clear product logic and establishing links between sections and materials so that the information would function as a unified system.

T8 is a Russian developer and manufacturer of DWDM telecommunications equipment for optical communication networks

The company implements comprehensive projects for the development of backbone and regional networks and data center connections. It provides a full life cycle of solutions: from production and integration to support and further expansion.

We were tasked with creating a corporate website that:

· showcases T8’s engineering expertise,
· serves as a convenient entry point to the equipment and solutions catalog,
· simplifies working with a wide range of products,
· provides quick access to technical data,
· aggregates key knowledge in the field of fiber optics, electronics, and photonics.

Visual system and identity

The T8 corporate identity is based on the «heart of communication» metaphor: linear graphics reflect the structure of optical networks and engineering drawings, forming a recognizable visual rhythm. The color palette combines blue and red with a gradient transition, using red as an accent to emphasize the brand’s technological nature.

3D models are created based on technical drawings, demonstrating the structure of DWDM system modules. Icons are designed in an engineering-schematic style and depict the equipment, connections between modules, and the overall network structure. A light, neutral photo style supports the visual system and allows for the use of bright promotional images.

 

Combined, these elements form a unified visual language used on the website, in product cards, and in promotional materials. The usage rules are laid out in the brand book.

Analytics and design

We used the business requirements we gathered, interviews with stakeholders, user behavior studies, and competitor benchmarking to build the site architecture, key user scenarios, and catalog logic: from searching for equipment to checking out technical specs.

The catalog combines equipment and software using interlinking between cards. For example, a user can open the page for the VOLGA DWDM system, study the equipment specifications, and then move on to the corresponding NMS Titan management software and back again. This allows users to understand the relationship between hardware and software in multiple ways — information is available at all levels of the catalog.

The interface is adapted to work with large amounts of technical data: tables, diagrams, and graphs are structured into blocks. A single «Submit Request» CTA is located on key pages, reducing the user’s path to just a couple of clicks.

Layout principles

The equipment landing pages are structured like a marketing brochure: each page sequentially presents the product and its unique advantages. For clarity, the blocks alternate between diagrams, 3D models, and tables with specifications, demonstrating the equipment’s design, technical data, and key USPs.

The layout is based on a clean modular grid with minimal decorative elements. Technical information is organized into structured blocks with uniform rhythm and alignment. Rectangular shapes organize the data, and 3D models serve as functional visual cues and highlight key product features.

The color scheme is context-driven: corporate pages are light with an emphasis on typography, while promotional landing pages feature gradients that emphasize the technical and marketing nature of the product.

Development

The interactive project table on the home page is updated via the admin panel: simply replace the data, and the animation effects are generated automatically. The content management system allows for flexible editing of news, projects, and vacancies.

Integration with hh.ru ensures automatic updating of open positions.

Result

The website has become a single point of entry into the T8 ecosystem of products and technologies, combining an image section and equipment catalog with quick access to specifications, solutions, projects, news, and job openings.

The interface simplifies working with technical data: characteristics, specifications, and documentation are structured into blocks, and system cards contain key parameters and advantages.

The flexible architecture of the website is ready for expansion of the product range and adding new products and sections, supporting the development of the T8 digital ecosystem. A single CTA «Send request» increased conversion — the target reached 1.78%, which is normal for the complex B2B segment.
