"Digital Technologies and Platforms" is an IT company developing digital products and solutions for industry.
Context
Predictive analytics, artificial intelligence, digitalization of business processes, VR and AR are just a few of the company’s activities. Over 1000 employees work in 27 regions of Russia, creating solutions for the chemical, energy, and mining industries.
The scale of projects is growing, and so is the need for competent specialists. Our task was to develop a user-friendly career website that would create the value of DigTP as an employer by demonstrating the most important factors for applicants in choosing a company.
Identity digitalization
In the design, it was important to reflect DigTP’s commitment to modern trends and positioning as a progressive company in the field of digital technologies. The company’s brand book was already used in internal communication, but in order to fulfil the task, we offered the client to expand the elements of the identity.
As a result, we refreshed and expanded the color palette, detailed the typography in combination with different shades, and developed existing patterns for use on cards. We also designed a set of new icons and abstract supergraphics, which were animated on the homepage.
Development
We developed a frontend application based on the Next.js framework and a backend application based on the Laravel framework, interacting with each other via REST API. The modern approach to separating the frontend and backend parts of the project increases project maintainability. Unlike developing a monolithic application, there is no need to integrate HTML markup into server logic.
Backend
Using standard libraries and packages (Livewire, Alpine.js, Tailwind CSS), we designed the interface of the administrative panel and developed server logic for interaction via REST API with the frontend part of the application.
For typical project pages and media, we created a system of blocks that can be disabled and rearranged in the administrative panel.
The key stage of developing the career website was configuring API integration with the E-Staff personnel management system for the purpose of exporting job vacancies. This provided:
— Centralized storage and management of job vacancies in a single source,
— Import of vacancies from the E-Staff system immediately after their creation,
— Ensured the real-time accuracy of the list of vacancies on the company’s website,
— Receipt of responses to vacancies in the E-Staff system with email notifications to recruiters.
Outcome
— The design criteria for the career website were based on the selection criteria for employers among IT specialists. This will enhance the effectiveness of the career site as an HR tool.
— Integration of the administrative panel with E-Staff simplifies the work of HR managers.
— Animated supergraphics add dynamism and modernity to the design, aligning with the company’s positioning goals.
