Kobor is a manufacturer and supplier of restaurant, retail, hotel, and food processing equipment.

The company offers a wide range of products ranging from refrigeration and confectionery equipment to office furniture and cosmetology chairs, as well as designs and equips turnkey facilities in the HoReCa sector.

Context and objectives

Kobor's team approached us to update their B2B online store, which also included corporate sections. It is the company's key sales tool with more than 50 thousand items.

In essence, it is a B2B marketplace with offers from dozens of different manufacturers.


Our goals were to

· Develop convenient navigation through the website and product catalog in accordance with the current user scenarios

· Propose a new visual brand identity that would match the status of an expert in the professional equipment market.

· Increase website conversion to completed orders

· Set up synchronization of prices and catalog balances, online payment

· Increase website performance

Catalog Navigation

After working through user scenarios, we integrated four ways to access products on the homepage depending on the user’s tasks:

1. A progressively expanding catalog in the header
2. A row with product categories
3. Search on the website
4. Clear alphabetical catalog in the burger menu

Additionally

Additionally, a separate brand catalog with three search options has been developed. The user can sort the brands alphabetically or use the search bar if they are looking for a specific brand.

A category filter allows the user to view a selection of brands by Kobor’s business lines.

Selections and interesting solutions



With the help of changing main banners reflected the value proposition in four key specializations of the company — equipment manufacturing, equipment for trade, equipment for catering and hotels.

The company’s special offers were arranged in animated, colorful selections.

Catalog and product card

The catalog is designed with the possibility of accent layout. High-margin products are highlighted by a large card with the ability to reconfigure it in the admin panel.In addition to standard filters, individual filters are set up for each product category.

The card contains all the information you need to make a purchase decision — from detailed specifications to delivery and answers to popular customer questions. Vital information about the product and the opportunity to place an order are always in front of the user in the block on the right. Among the features of the card the possibility to buy instantly or leasing, download documents about the product in pdf format and add the product to the list for comparison or favorites.

Personal account



In the personal account, the buyer can view all placed orders and see the electronic receipt of purchase. It is possible to register as an individual or a legal entity, as well as to add delivery addresses.

Corporate section

In addition to service pages, the structure of the website includes pages that reflect the positioning of the company

Design

The newly created corporate identity reflects the technological and progressive nature of Kobor.

We created a design system for all pages and developed a consistent, flexible identity integrated into the design system and interface — icons, graphic and color schemes, animation of UI elements.
