Sibur career website

Design, development, and support of SIBUR's main career platform

SIBUR employs over 20 000 people who contribute daily to the development of sustainable solutions and innovations, creating in-demand products using advanced technologies.

1. We developed a communication product within the framework of the new HR guide: we reflected EVP for the target audience
2. Designed a job listing consisting of an open loop and a closed loop (for SIBUR employees only).
3. Set up integration with the Potok system
4. The website complies with SIBUR’s standart for secure software development

Analytics

Through benchmarking, we identified key trends, functional and narrative elements and opportunities for their implementation. We then developed hypotheses in a User Story format based on market research and employer ratings, and measured User Flow time to evaluate the effectiveness of design solutions.

Analytics

Analyzing metrics from the old website, including click and scroll heat maps, we identified issues with job filters and an outdated response form.

Benchmarking allowed us to identify best practices and functional elements to implement. Based on User Flow analysis, we evaluated the effectiveness of design decisions and identified areas for improvement.

We developed hypotheses in a User Story format, which helped us better understand user needs and tailor the website to meet their needs. Reflected the Employer Value Proposition in new messaging to clearly articulate the company’s benefits to employees.

The result was a website structure that meets modern design standards and user requirements.

User Story

Using SIBUR's EVP guidebook, key motivators and benchmarking of best practices of career websites, as well as existing experience, we have compiled hypotheses in the user story format.

User stories are a description of the expectations of job seekers, what they want to see on the future employer's website.

The hypotheses were also based on market research and employer ratings.

HR solutions

Special feature: recruitment is carried out at companies all over the country, often taking into account relocation within Russia. As information support, we created a series of lendings dedicated to companies and cities, their infrastructure and location.

Concept

As part of the concept work, 3 variants with different stylistic emphasis were developed. The final variant combined the best solutions from all three variants.

Design and layout

The brand book became the basis for the design, defining the target audience and SIBUR’s positioning as an employer. We adapted it for the digital environment, creating a design with interactive elements and a job search system.

The homepage emphasizes job search by identifying geolocation and suggesting popular requests, while improved filters and advanced search simplify navigation. Users can quickly find jobs through banners or project blocks, ensuring easy access to information of interest.

We created a «Hero’s Path in SIBUR» timeline, added landing pages for companies, and developed a feedback form with an extended questionnaire.

Development. Frontend

We optimized the job listing page by placing key elements for quick change of filters and search settings, and implemented vacancy loading on scrolling instead of traditional pagination.

We integrated the Mendeleev chatbot into the website via the WebSocket protocol.

To improve website speed, we refactored blocks on the homepage, optimized media files and added Lazy Loading of non-critical scripts.

Development. Backend

We have integrated with the Potok recruiting system, which allowed us to update vacancies in real time. Candidates can respond to job openings with filtering by parameters, or send a resume without linking to a specific vacancy by selecting a field and specifying the desired position.

For SIBUR employees, a closed job board has been created. The system also collects email addresses of interested users for notifications from the HR department. Journaling of system events and user actions has been set up.

Result

Only continues its role in maintaining SIBUR’s career website and improving it in terms of design, layout, and development.
