Analitycs
We have redesigned the structure of the website and simplified the navigation: now everything is easy, clear, and convenient. Whether you’re looking for press materials, information about partnerships or just want to learn more about your favorite actor, the website is designed to put everything you need at your fingertips.

Design
We have developed an interface that complies with current standards, but at the same time retains the unique identity of the film studio. The central idea is to emphasize that Mosfilm has been and remains one of the leading players in the world of Russian cinema.
The key idea behind the new identity was the use of light, which is central to both the studio’s cinematography and visual identity. The colors, patterns, gradients, and animations of the spotlights refer to the light of filming spotlights and iconic movie setpieces. On the film web pages, card animations create a lighting effect when hovered over, further emphasizing the atmosphere of film production.
The covers of the films are designed using the color solutions of posters, and in their absence capital letters from the film title are used. This solution preserves aesthetics and makes each cover visually integral.

Design
We paid special attention to the heritage of the film studio. Illustrations with iconic shots and quotes from the films remind us of legendary moments of Russian cinema.
Design
A credits block concludes the homepage, giving a reference to the achievements of great directors such as Sergei Eisenstein and Andrei Tarkovsky as part of Mosfilm’s achievements.
Interactivity and cinematic aesthetics were key aspects of the project. A countdown preloader creates an atmosphere of anticipation for the start of the movie.
For B2B clients, a 2D-map of the Central Production Department’s filming locations with exact dimensions was developed, which makes it easier to find locations during filming and planning. The excursion section was supplemented with photos.
The new identity creates an emotional connection with the audience, reflecting the historical significance of the film studio and bringing it into the modern digital environment. The wide grid, large headlines, and easy navigation all work towards a sense of ease. The website has become not just a project, but a digital embodiment of Russia’s cultural code, connecting the past and the present.

Design
When creating the most visited section, we analyzed the world’s best platforms (Apple TV, Amazon Prime Video, Universal Studio, Lionsgate, Okko, Kion, Kinopoisk, Ivi, Wink, etc.). The familiar elements of the interface were preserved: announcements of premieres and popular movies, a search bar, banners with brief information and a carousel of thematic selections. The content was structured by genres and collections.
The block «Restored films» occupies a prominent place. A true gem: this is where movie masterpieces get a second life, and viewers get an opportunity to enjoy the restored quality of legendary films.

Design
A veritable treasure trove of films for movie buffs. To unite the rich heritage of Mosfilm, we have created a system of filters by key parameters: genre, release date, actors, directors, as well as the presence of subtitles and captioning. A useful feature is the division of movies into series and seasons, which greatly simplifies navigation. For example, fans of «Big Change» will be able to easily find the desired episode.

Design
Movie webpages show a high level of engagement: over 70% of users view at least three pages before selecting a movie.
The cover of the movie is placed on the left side to immediately attract attention, and next to it is the basic information: year of release, genre, rating and a brief synopsis. All data is presented in a structured way so that the viewer can quickly gain an idea of the movie. To create the atmosphere, the background is often made up of video clips or stills from the movie — this helps to feel the mood of the movie even before you start watching it.
Users can start watching the movie in one of three players of their choice and share the link with friends.
Additional data is also presented: duration, box office receipts, awards. Photographs of the performers of the main roles are arranged in round cards for easy perception. From here it is also possible to go to the actors’ biographies.
Below there is a block of recommendations, which helps to find similar movies. The list is based on genre or director, which greatly simplifies the search for new movies.

We retained the familiar to the customer admin panel on CMS Bitrix and set up two-way links between information blocks, thus linking the pages of movies and persons.
After the upgrade, the website runs on PHP 8.0, improving interaction with the CMS core. We optimized standard Bitrix components, made JavaScript code more structured and improved performance. Additionally, we implemented measures to strengthen system security.
We added smooth animations of transitions between pages and adaptive mobile version.
