Design and development of a promotional website for a cough treatment product from Pharmstandart

“Pharmstandard” is one of Russia's leading pharmaceutical companies producing high-quality and affordable medicines.

We were to develop a branding for Bromgecomb — a new combined expectorant for the treatment of productive cough.

Features of the drug:

— Two product forms: syrup and tablets
— Aids in the expectoration of sputum, relieving coughs
— Available by prescription

Cough control expert

Bromgecomb is a new prescription drug with low recognition. Landing page should explain its benefits in a clear way, without violating advertising restrictions.

We developed the concept of «Cough control expert». The website positions the brand as a reliable assistant that helps understand cough mechanisms and the effects of different components. This approach allowed us to gently but convincingly demonstrate the benefits of Bromgekomb.

Special attention was paid to the adaptation of medical terminology — complex concepts were explained through simple analogies and visual metaphors.

Digital identity

The color palette is based on the signature hues of Bromgekomb’s packaging; they create recognition and a connection to the product. Neutral white and gray backgrounds provide a clean perception in the more service-oriented blocks, while rich blue and orange add dynamics in the promotional blocks.

The Suisse Intl is a modern grotesque font with crisp geometry. Its versatility works on all levels, from large headlines in upper case to legible text blocks.

Images and icons

Dimensional illustrations add warmth to the landing page and make it easier to perceive information. We expanded on the image of the elephant from the syrup packaging by creating a series of icons in the form of elephant’s feet; this memorable element strengthens the associative connection with the brand.

Abstract medical elements work as a neutral background for the cards, while maintaining a professional tone. In combination with bright illustrations, they create a harmonious balance between friendliness and expert presentation.

Product as a focus

The landing page is built around a visual demonstration of the drug. Realistic images of Bromhecomb in both types (syrup and tablets) become the semantic and compositional center of each key section, smoothly guiding the user from one topic to another.

This approach allows the user to keep their attention on the drug, gradually revealing its characteristics without information overload.

A modern and reliable stack was chosen for the development of the landing page:

HTML5 — creating the structure of web pages
CSS3 + SCSS — modular styles with preprocessor capabilities
Pug — simplified template creation through the use of variables, loops, and conditions
Webpack — project assembly with performance optimization
Swiper — library for creating interactive elements on the website

Result

We’ve created a branding platform that solves two key tasks at once:

— Strengthens the brand through expert but accessible presentation of information
— Achieves business goals by unobtrusively demonstrating the benefits of the drug within the legal restrictions

Bright visuals in the style of packaging made Bromgecomb more recognizable, and a convenient structure helps doctors and patients to quickly find the information they need.
